A Vietnamese immigrant who sent more than 200 indecent and threatening letters to council and business leaders has been told he may be sent to prison.
Hai Nhan<OK>, 31, of Rokells<OK>, Basildon, was convicted of one count of harassment and a single charge of sending indecent articles by post.
Southend Crown Court was told Hai Nhan and his elder brother Luong Nhan, 37, had sent 212 letters to employers who had refused them jobs and other business and community leaders, including ex-Basildon Council chief executive John Robb<OK>.
His brother was found of sending indecent articles.
The letters featured a pornographic image of a woman and an expletive-laden statement making threats.
They will be sentenced in February.
