It was cartoons and caricatures at Clacton leisure centre before Christmas.

The centre may have been buzzing with the sporty types but there was also a corner for the arty ones.
They had gathered for special children's classes with professional artist Krystyna Lange, of Brightlingsea.
On Monday, they made Christmas cards and on Wednesday they were challenged to bring a photograph of themselves and then draw a caricature or cartoon based on it. Yesterday, they met for a face-painting and design day.
