Plans for a major £1.5 million improvement project at a charity headquarters in Clacton are set to go before Tendring District Council.
The plans from Tendring Community Voluntary Service (TCVS) are to build a three-storey extension and upgrade facilities at Imperial House in Rosemary Road.
The town centre development plans have been on show to the public, who have backed the project.
TCVS chairman Pat Manning said the only remarks were about lack of parking but said with a town centre property it was always difficult to know how to cope with parking problems.
The charity's buy a brick appeal which was launched at the Victorian market in late November has got off to a slow start but Mrs Manning says she is hopeful local groups and clubs will start fundraising in the new year.
Mrs Manning says the plans will go before the district council to gauge if they are in favour of the scheme.
