Two Christmas trees, paid for by management, staff and customers of Chicago Rock Cafe at Braintree Freeport, were presented to Karen Lewis, head of the maternity unit, at the town's William Julien Courtauld Hospital.
Jo Dines, Braintree Freeport's Chicago Rock Cafe general manager, said: "We are really pleased to be able to give something to the hospital, especially at Christmas time.
"I think the trees will put a smile on a lot of faces and bring a little joy and Christmas spirit to the patients and staff at the hospital."
