Tracey has been chosen to take part in a television challenge programme in Borneo, climbing mountains and swimming with sharks.
The challenge, called Rumble in the Jungle, will see the ultimate winner drive off with a brand new Jeep.
Tracey, 21, of Hunters Chase, Kirby Cross, saw the auditions on the internet while at Loughborough University where she is studying for a sports science degree.
The former Tendring Technology College student has to raise £3,500 before embarking on the challenge at the end of June and is hoping local businesses will sponsor her.
