Essex Police has revealed where its latest batch of support officers will be based.
The force announced last month that 41 extra Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) would be recruited by the end of March.
In north Essex, they will be shared out as follows:
Colchester division will get five
Braintree three
Tendring three
Chelmsford three
Mobile support division (patrolling the coastline) two.
According to Essex Police, that will eventually take the total number of PCSOs to about 195.
There are 125 already working, 30 due to start in January and 41 announced by the Home Office in November.
