Detectives want to trace a man in connection with a burglary in which a woman came face to face with an intruder in her bedroom.
The burglar, who had distinctive bad teeth, got into her home in London Road, Stanway, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
When he was discovered, he asked his victim for Rizla cigarette papers then pushed his way past her and escaped, taking her handbag.
Det Con Sue Bakewell, of Colchester police, said: "It's not every day that a man wanders into a bedroom at that time of the morning asking for some Rizlas so we are keen to trace this man."
The intruder had bad teeth with one or two at the front missing. He was described as white, skinny, in his early-20s, about 5ft 9ins tall, with dark hair.
