An exasperated churchwarden is once again counting the cost of an attack by vandals.
Window panels at St Paul's Church in Parkeston were smashed on Sunday morning in the latest of a series of incidents.
The damage included two stained-glass displays, which will cost hundreds of pounds to replace.
Churchwarden Ron Greenfield said: "The vandals have come with stones and sticks and smashed windows not only outside but the vestry indoors.
"It has happened so many times this year we just don't know what to do to stop it."
Most recently, St Paul's was targeted in July and October, each time suffering broken windows.
The church had only recently replaced a window at a cost of £250 when Sunday's attacked happened.
