A heroin addict faces jail after pleading guilty to threatening four men with an imitation stun gun before robbing them.

Twenty-three-year-old Dionysious Paraskevopooulos, formerly of Lewes Road, Southend, appeared at Basildon Crown Court on Friday where he admitted the offences, which all took place over a six day period in October.

The Greek mechanic, who entered his guilty pleas through an interpreter, took items including a bracelet, mobile phone, cash and a wallet belonging to his victims.

The case was adjourned for a pre sentence report. He was remanded in custody and will reappear for sentencing on Wednesday, January 26.
