Firefighters took more than an hour to cut a woman out of a car following an accident.
Crews had to use specialist cutting equipment to free a 17-year-old woman, of Colchester, who was trapped in a car follow a collision involving two cars in Braxted Road, Little Braxted, near to the Braxted Park Golf Course, yesterday.
The accident involved a black Volkswagen Golf GTI and a blue Ford Fiesta.
The air ambulance, two ambulances, an emergency medical team and a GP went to the scene and the woman was flown to Colchester General Hospital with a fractured pelvis, a head injury and cuts.
A 27-year-old male driver from Witham was taken to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, with neck, back and leg injuries.
