Victory over Colchester United means Brentford boss Martin Allen is one step closer to completing his first goal of the season.
After taking over the Bees and saving them for relegation at the end of last season, he set himself a target of of 51 points.
Three points against Colchester means his side have claimed maximum hauls in their last three Coca-Cola League One matches and sees the Bees buzzing in fifth place with 37 points in the bag.
Allen said: "I don't want to put my family though the whole experience of fighting relegation again.
"I've set the aim of 51 points this year and then a new target when that is reached.
"I do have my own belief about what I think this team can do.
"I told the players in the dressing room before my first game in charge last season what that was and they thought I was mad, so I'm not telling anyone else yet."
