Feeding the swans at Mistley Walls has always been a popuar pastime.

But there has been an added attraction in recent weeks with the arrival of a black swan.
Black swans have been seen several times at nearby Flatford but rarely at Mistley.
Ian Rose, chairman of the village's parish council and a naturalist, said: "We do get black swans occasionally.
"It has probably escaped from someone's ornamental garden."
The resident white swans seem to have accepted the newcomer and Mr Rose said: "While there is food there, it will probably stay but I would expect it will fly off for nesting."
