A youth shelter could be built in a village for young people to meet there.
A planning application will be made to put a shelter in Parkeston Welfare Park. The project is being overseen by Harwich and District Crime Prevention Panel.
Ramsey and Parkeston Parish Council thought the shelter was a good idea and will be applying for it on behalf of the panel.
The shelter is mushroom-shaped with open sides and made of galvanised steel.
Similar plans for a shelter in Dovercourt were withdrawn because of residents' opposition.
