It's all a game Thurstable School, Tiptree, students Adam Lofthouse and Rebecca Siddle show they mean business. (40084-3)
Aspiring entrepreneurs at Thurstable School, Tiptree, played interactive business game Leverage.
The Essex Education Business Partnership competition teaches techniques to become successful business people of the future.
Participants learnt about sales and marketing, finance and the importance of looking after employees as well as customers.
Gamemaster Chris Crace, of Action International, said: "This is a great way to learn important business skills in a fun and dynamic way.
"Action's definition of a business is a commercial, profitable enterprise that works without the business owner, and Leverage will help them to take the first steps towards this."
Student Rebecca Siddle said: "This is an excellent game, which has taught me entrepreneurial skills I can successfully apply to my A-level business studies."
Matthew Sheppard said: "It's a fantastic game. I've loved every minute of it. It's an exciting way to learn."
