Striker Gareth Williams is hoping for an explosive return to form after breaking his goal-drought for Colchester United.
On target - Gareth Williams is hungry for more goals after breaking his drought against Hull City. 39592-6
The Welshman struck five minutes after coming on as a substitute in Saturday's Coca-Cola League One clash against Hull City, keeping his cool to convert a cross from Greg Halford.
Former loanee Williams had scored on his first start for the club - against AFC Bournemouth in September - after signing a permanent deal in August.
But since then he had failed to hit the target from open play and found himself in and out of the side.
Even so, he believes he has the talent to cut it and told the Gazette: "I like to think I'm as good as any striker in this division.
"I've scored more than enough goals in my time to show I have the quality to be playing.
"I've now got to keep doing well, keep scoring and keep my confidence up when I get out on the pitch."
