Clacton maintained their winning ways after another top performance against fellow high-flyers Saffron Walden.
Once again, their strikers laid the foundations for victory with a tireless display of running which constantly put the home defence under pressure.
Centre-forward Sam Hodge continued his fine form and linked well down the right with fellow striker Gavin Roberts.
Both created opportunities, while also denying time and space to the opposition.
The largely untroubled Clacton defence was well-marshalled by Rik Coleman and Jamie Roberts.
Together with Trevor Sumption, Steven and Mike Key they confidently dealt with the sporadic Saffron Waldon attacks.
Clacton ended the first half of the season just behind top-of-the-table Dunmow. But they will look forward to the return of injured midfield dynamo Chris Olly.
