The family from Thorpe first started decorating the outside of their house in Byng Crescent 13 years ago but this year they decided to use the festive glow to raise cash for Essex Air Ambulance.
Father-of-three Kevin said: "We started putting a few lights on years ago, but it's just got bigger and bigger. Now any type we see we get and add it to our collection."
