Great Bentley's monthly magazine has again been voted the best in Essex.
The 36-page magazine with colour photographs beat off stiff competition from 30 others but a panel of Essex journalists gave it top marks.
It is the fourth time the village magazine has been a runaway winner and editor Mary Maskell is thrilled to win the title again.
"I am absolutely delighted for the village. It is a huge team effort a lot of people are involved in the production and delivery," she said.
"I think people do enjoy our magazine, especially those who are housebound and can't get out much and hopefully we amuse others too."
Nick Shuttleworth, director of competition organisers Rural Community Council for Essex, said this year's entry was the best for some ten years.
