A college has hosted its first educational exchange visit for travel and tourism students through a special partnership scheme.
Braintree College has played host to students from Oberstufenzentrum Lausitz in Sedlitz, in former East Germany, Utbildningscentrum in Tjorn, very close to Gothenburg, Sweden, and Zespol Szkol nr in Stargard, Poland, organised through the Comenius School Partnership.
They visited London, including trips to the British Museum, Covent Garden, the Tate Modern and the Houses of Parliament, as well as more local attractions like Colchester Castle and Braintree Public Gardens.
During their four-day visit, the students gave presentations and staged an international exhibition in the college foyer, with displays, food samples and information on cultural and tourist attractions.
