Joe Dunne's Colchester United youth team are ready to tackle the cream of Premiership giants Chelsea's Academy.
The two teams go head-to-head in the FA Youth Cup third round at Layer Road tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
And coach Dunne said: "The lads know what they have to do and we're ready to take on Chelsea."
The U's youngsters secured their passage into the third round with wins over Whyteleafe and then Cheltenham.
Dunne is confident his team can emerge triumphant as long as they show the right mentality against the Stamford Bridge side.
He said: "It's going to be about our state of mind. Who wants it the most is going to win it. It's all about the players and their attitude.
"If it's right then we have a good chance of winning."
