Dressed as the star they were impersonating, the staff, complete with pupil backing singers and dancers, competed to be the top of the pops at Tendring Technology College.
The fundraising show was staged by sixth form Young Enterprise pupils called Xpand.
Maths teacher Richard Blanes became Frank Sinatra, doing it his way to take first place with the song That's Life. He was backed by seasonally-dressed year ten pupils.
Drama teacher Eileen Sherman came second, and head of languages, Maiso Urwin, came third.
