A south Essex businessman is negotiating to buy picturesque land on Premier Tony Blair's doorstep to sell to travellers.
Len Gridley is also planning to buy acres of green belt land for travellers in the constituencies of Cabinet ministers as a protest against Government policy.
Len's home in Oak Road, Crays Hill, is next to the largest travellers' site in the country, and he has also targeted top politicans such as John Prescott and David Blunkett.
He said today that he wants the Government "to learn how bad it is living next to these sites."
Mr Grindley, who has earmarked £500,000 for his protest, said he will carry out the action if hundreds of travellers living near his home are not moved on by May 13 next year - the deadline given to them by Mr Prescott after they lost a planning appeal to stay there.
