A large fire at a disused building may have caused damage worth £50,000.
The blaze happened on Wednesday evening at the site of the re-building of Trinity House, with onlookers describing the flames as "intense"
Although no construction work was affected, an old brick building nearby was badly damaged.
It is believed the structure, which was due to be knocked down, stored equipment belonging to phone company T-Mobile.
The police are investigating the causes of the fire and it is being treated as suspicious.
