JASMIN Young is hoping a sponsorship deal with a civil engineering firm will help her build a brighter future in tennis.
Southend company Brockwell & Sons have agreed to financially support the 12-year-old Shoebury player for the next year.
And it looks like it might by money well spent after a successful summer of competitions for Jasmin.
"It's a great opportunity to support a local talent like Jasmin and give her the support she needs to progress even further with her tennis," said company boss Tony Brockwell.
And Jasmin's coach at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre, Luke Greenway, also reckons the sponsorship will help his pupil blossom.
"This is a great boost for Jasmin's tennis and can only help her progress towards her goals in tennis," he said.
While the exact sum is not being revealed, the cash will help Jasmin pay for coaching, equipment and travelling to tournaments.
