Plans to build offices and extend a light industrial business park in Inworth Road, Feering, have been approved by councillors.
Feering Parish Council was concerned about the increase in traffic if Threshelfords Business Park was extended. It requested a section 106 agreement whereby the developers, Granville Developments, would help fund new slip roads to the A12.
But while it makes provision for a green travel plan for employees and improved footpaths on Inworth Road, the completed agreement does not cover the slip roads.
Braintree Council's Witham area committee on Tuesday granted planning permission in line with planning officers' recommendations. Outline planning permission had already been granted.
