What do you think about the open space, sports and recreational facilities available in the Chelmsford borough?
The council is giving residents in the non-parish areas of Chelmsford town the opportunity to express their views on leisure facilities in the area in a bid to help develop future policies and plans.
The council's exhibition vehicle will be visiting the Somerfield Superstore car park in Newlands Spring, Chelmsford, between 10am-12.30pm on October 11, and Havengore Parade car park in Springfield between 1.30-4pm.
The next day it can be found at the Tesco Superstore car park in Princes Road between in the morning and the car park of the Church of the Holy Spirit adjacent to Forest Drive shopping parade that afternoon.
This is the final part of a year-long consultation process and completes a full assessment of the community needs regarding open space, sports and recreational services. Consultants were appointed to work with various groups and organisations including parish councils, sports clubs and schools in addition to street surveys.
For further information on the open space consultation contact Chelmsford Borough Council's senior planning officer Jeremy Potter on 01245 606821.
