Ben May will be in a Colchester United shirt for another month.
Staying with U's for another month - Ben May
The striker's loan deal with Coca-Cola Championship side Millwall was originally for two months at the start of the season.
However, with forward Craig Fagan recovering from a hernia operation for the next two weeks and his own dazzling displays, U's boss Phil Parkinson has made a move to extend May's deal for an extra month.
Parkinson said: "It's a combination of reasons really. We're obviously without Craig at the moment, but Ben has really impressed.
"He has got some important goals during his spell here and his attitude has been top rate, so it makes sense to keep him."
