Chris Powell is ready to commit himself to West Ham United's Championship promotion bid full-time.
The left-back returned to Premiership Charlton Athletic this week after ending a month's loan at Upton Park on a high following Saturday's 1-0 win over Wolves.
But the former Southend United skipper said he planned to make a quick return to East London and would not rule out a permanent move to Alan Pardew's side.
"I've really enjoyed the last few weeks at West Ham and I would love to come back," said former England defender Powell.
"I am still a Charlton player, but I'd be more than happy to sign on loan for another month, or even join West Ham permanently.
"But I don't know what's happening at the moment. It's up to the two managers to discuss what they want to do. I don't even know if Charlton would want a fee for me.
"All I do know is that I'm 35-years-old now and I still have a great hunger for the game.
"I've always played regular first team football at every club I've been at and I would be pleased for that to continue with Hammers."
