Southend United manager Steve Tilson praised striker Fredy Eastwood after the young forward netted for the Shrimpers reserves against Millwall yesterday.
The 20-year-old curled home a composed 14-yard shot but could not stop the Seasiders' second-string crashing to a 2-1 defeat at the New Den.
"Fredy took his goal ever so well and he looked very comfortable on the ball," said Tilson.
"He had some neat touches and turns although I would still like him to work a bit harder."
But Tilson added Eastwood would definitely be involved against Boston for Blues' first team clash against the Pilgrims this Friday.
"It looks like Lawrie (Dudfield) and Drewe (Broughton) will both miss out so it's more than likely Fredy will be on the bench for our game this week," he added.
