A charity which is a lifeline to many disabled shoppers may have to close on one of its busiest days unless it can get more volunteers.
Shopmobility in Clacton has been lending electric scooters and wheelchairs out for more than ten years. But lack of staff could mean having to close on a Saturday morning.
"We are not under threat of complete closure but there is a desperate need," said co-ordinator Sue Salmon.
Staff are having to work extra shifts to keep the service going at present.
