Traders who fear their businesses will be demolished as part of the multi-million pound regeneration scheme have handed in a petition signed by 3,000 customers.

Dee Cosar of Dee's Kitchen in Eld Lane and Adrian Swaisland of Welhams men's hairdressers in St Botolph's Street have joined forces to fight plans to demolish their shops as part of the St Botolph's regeneration plans.
They handed their petitions to Colchester Council's planning department.
The plan involving demolition of some shops to make way for walkways has gone out for consultation.
