Six students from the new model special school in Bocking attend classes every Thursday morning at Braintree Skillbase in High Street.
Students voted to begin classes this term after Skillbase tutors Dave French and David Brett gave them a presentation in the summer.
Teacher Chris Gamble said: "The sense of achievement that the students have when they rush back and show us what they've done is great."
