A Good Samaritan who came to the aid of a woman and her distressed dog has been applauded for her quick thinking.
Feeling better - wasp sting victim Pippa gets a hug from owner Jennie Blew, who now wants to get in touch with the Good Samaritan who helped her. Picture: ADRIAN RUSHTON (38580-1)
Dog owner Jennie Blew panicked when her dalmatian, Pippa, collapsed in Newland Street, Witham, after being stung by an insect, possibly a wasp.
Two men rushed to help, then a woman took Mrs Blew and Pippa home in her car.
Mrs Blew, of Calamint Road, said: "I felt terrible that when we got to my house I didn't even ask her name or address. I was in such a panic. If only I could find out where she lived and thank her properly."
Mrs Blew would like to thank the woman herself. If you are the woman, or know who she is, please contact our newsdesk on 01376 334343
