Gareth Williams remembers vividly his first Football League hat-trick.
He recorded it in a storming 4-1 home win over Port Vale in March 2003 - Colchester United manager Phil Parkinson's first game at the helm.
And the goal-hungry Welsh Under-23 international and former Crystal Palace striker would love nothing more than to repeat the dose against Vale again tomorrow's Coca-Cola League One visitors to Layer Road.
"It was extra special because it capped the manager's first game in charge," said the fiery-haired former Selhurst Park trainee.
He added: "Everyone seems to remember it.
"My mother's still got the match ball and my family have already pointed out to me it's Port Vale again tomorrow.
"Time to score another hat-trick!"
