Where is the proposed new bus station for Colchester town centre going to go?
That is is the question that is burning on everyone's lips, including Colchester MP Bob Russell who wants some answers from the borough's council.
As part of the St Botolph's regeneration scheme, there were plans to move the bus station to Osborne Street and part of the ground floor of the NCP car park.
This led to fears that the Gala Club could be evicted, prompting a campaign to save it. But this proposal has now been scrapped. It is still not clear, as the new bus station will not be using the site of the Gala Bingo Club in Osborne Street, whether it will still be built around it or at another location.
