West Ham goalscorer Mattie Etherington was left frustrated despite grabbing the equaliser in his side's 1-1 draw at Derby County.
The left winger struck after 11 minutes to cancel out Michael Johnson's sixth-minute opener, but then suffered as neither he nor his team-mates could find a way past the Rams rearguard.
And as the Hammers' winless run reaches three games he is waiting desperately for a lift in form.
"We should have taken all three points," said the current Hammer of the Year.
"We played quite well and we had a few good chances in the second half, but it just didn't happen for us.
"It's ironic. At the start of the season we weren't playing well but we were getting results.
"We're playing well at the moment but we're not getting the results.
"I'm sure results will come, though. We were unlucky at Nottingham Forest on Sunday and we should have won last night."
