A woman was forced to jump from a window to escape her blazing flat early today.

The woman, who is in her 30s, escaped with minor injuries after she leapt to safety at 3.50am in Pallister Road, Clacton.
Emergency services were called to the flats, where the fire had spread to two other floors.
Firefighters were brought in from Clacton, Frinton and Weeley. An aerial ladder platform was sent from Colchester.
