Trekker Joanne Bull wants ladies to pamper themselves for charity, so she can rough it in Peru.
Joanne Bull prepares for her gruelling trek along the Inca trail
Miss Bull, 30, is raising money for disability charity Mencap, through a ladies' evening of complimentary therapies.
The money will go towards the Rainbow Centre, a Mencap project in Urubamba, which Miss Bull will visit before trekking the Inca trail with 50 other volunteers.
The thought of camping for two weeks in Peru is not something she is relishing, but apart from that, Miss Bull, of Jersey Way, Braintree, said she was looking forward to it.
The ladies' evening will take place at Braintree Rugby Club at 7.30pm, on Thursday, October 7. For information and tickets, or to sponsor Miss Bull, please contact her on 01376 323667
