Maldon and Dengie tenants of the Moat Housing Group travelled to Chatham for a busy day of discussions and family fun with their counterparts from Kent, Sussex and south London.
The first of its kind, the get-together was hosted by the Moat Group Residents' Forum at Chatham's Bridgewood Manor Hotel.
Main topics for discussion included anti-social behaviour, drug awareness and how to make a difference within Moat Housing's neighbourhoods.
A workshop on anti-social behaviour focused on new police and local authority powers and provided information about how residents could help tackle these problems.
Richard Iddenden, forum vice chairman, said the event was organised for Moat residents by Moat residents with topics chosen by residents covering issues which were of importance to residents.
