A grateful father and mother have raised thousands of pounds for Great Ormond Street Hospital as a thank you for treating their daughter following an serious road accident.
Harriet Fulcher, 12, was treated in the London hospital's paediatric intensive care unit after she was hit by a car in Hockley in June.
Her parents, Trevor and Debbie, were so impressed with the care she received they decided to raise funds for them.
On Friday, Mr Fulcher staged a quiz night with a difference at Harriet's school, Greensward College in Hockley, which raised £2,500.
Head of college Debbie Stokes said: "We could have sold the quiz night three times over."
Harriet, meanwhile, is recovering and has made great progress in the past few weeks. She is now back at school and doing well.
