Here's a pumpkin almost large enough to serve as Cinderella's carriage.
What a whopper - Arthur Farthing with his pumpkin
Keen gardener Arthur Farthing has grown the giant specimen at his allotment in West Bergholt. It is so heavy, weighing in at 13-and-a-half stone, that he cannot move it from the spot where it grew.
Mr Farthing, 70, a retired driver, of Bourne Road, has grown fruit and vegetables at his allotment in Chapel Road for the last 20 years.
He said: "I just grew it from seed. It's been so wet and warm this summer, that's why I think it's grown so big. I have never seen something like this. My biggest one before is 60lb."
