A mental health charity has denied it has cold feet over plans for a firewalk and said it will hold the sizzling event in warmer times.
Plans for Maldon Mind's fundraising firewalk have been postponed for a second time and the charity plans to hold the walk next spring instead.
The charity walk was first scheduled to take place at the 999 day in Promenade Park in July, but the local Mind fundraisers decided it should take place in the dark for maximum impact.
Following discussions with Maldon Rotary Club, the event was scheduled for the fireworks night in Promenade Park in November but works on the Marine Lake left only a small space available which organisers feel will not fit the bill.
