An elderly man was airlifted to hospital after being in a head-on crash outside an ambulance station.
The 68-year-old was knocked unconscious and suffered facial cuts during the accident in Colchester Road, Weeley, yesterday.
He had just posted a letter and got back into his car when the head on crash happened at 1.38pm.
The impact of the collision with an agricultural vehicle pushed the car into the garden of a nearby bungalow. Two ambulances from Weeley, another from Ramsey, a rapid response vehicle and the air ambulance were sent to the scene.
