Manager Phil Parkinson has predicted a glittering future for new Colchester United midfield ace Richard Garcia.
Tipped for the top - Richard Garcia
The energetic Australian Under-23 international and former West Ham FA Youth Cup winner has shown true touches of class in his three outings for the U's so far.
A key figure in their engine room alongside Craig Fagan, Kevin Watson and Blackburn loanee Neil Danns, Parkinson is 'over the moon' with his latest permanent capture.
And he's confident the best is yet to come.
"Garcia will be a top, top player one day," said Parkinson, speaking ahead of tomorrow's Coca-Cola League One trek to Oldham Athletic.
"He's a gutsy character, strong on the ball, good in the air, committed and passionate. I've always liked his talent. He's a signing-and-a-half, I promise you, and in Richard I've got the steal of the century."
