BILLERICAY Town hotshot Danny Hockton grabbed a hat-trick to bring his season's tally to 13 goals as Ryman Premier basement club Kingstonian were hit for six.
The New Lodge side put the visiting goal under siege from the start and went ahead after only five minutes, visiting man Fraser Muscat heading Gavin Heeroo's cross into his own net.
After 28 minutes, Hockton grabbed his First and ex-West Ham FA Youth Cup goal hero Bertie Brayley made it 3-0 60 seconds later -- both goals resulting from poor marking.
Hockton hit the fourth two minutes before half-time, his best of the game, when he played a one-two with midfielder Steve Forbes before shooting home from the edge of the area.
The visitors, beset with problems both on and off the field, did enjoy a brief injection of resistance just after the break when Giles Coke pulled back a goal with a header following a corner.
Barry Marchena, in the Surrey side's goal, was twice called upon to make saves from recent signing Bertie Brayley, once with Canvey Island.
But, to the delight of the majority of the 430-strong crowd, the home side were not to be denied further goals.
First substitute Chris Stowe scored a classic header from Neil Cousin's pin-point cross. Then, inevit-ably, Hockton wrapped up a highly satisfactory afternoon by scoring the sixth direct from a free-kick following a push on Stowe by Jonathan Coke.
Apart from lifting the team to third in the table, the win gave Billericay a tremendous boost prior to next Saturday's big FA Cup second qualifying round trip to Isthmian Division One Dorking.
Southend Manor made progress in the FA Vase, beating Clapton 1-0 thanks to a second-minute strike from James Haydon.
