Jim Magilton has demanded a 'massive improvement' when Ipswich Town face Plymouth Argyle.
The Blues' Carling Cup hopes were dashed for another year on Tuesday when they slumped to a 2-0 defeat at League One side Doncaster Rovers.
Tomorrow, though, they will be looking to build on their impressive early-season form in a Coca-Cola Championship clash at Portman Road.
And skipper Magilton said: "We've got to show a massive improvement from midweek. Hopefully it was just a one-off but either way our performance simply wasn't good enough."
Town are fourth in the table behind Wigan, Reading and Stoke and can go top if other results go their way.
