STEVE Higgins made it a quartet of Leigh & Westcliff men's singles tennis titles on Sunday.
The Rayleigh player defeated Leigh's Paul Gardiner 6-4 7-6 to take the silverware for the fourth year runnings.
But Higgins' bid for a fourth men's doubles title was thwarted when he lost in the three sets.
Partnering Rayleigh club-mate Phil Alderton, Higgins was beaten 6-2 1-6 6-2 by Graham Wells and Greg Smart.
The Southend Lawn pairing won the winter championship this year, but this was their first summer doubles triumph.
