Colchester United dumped Premiership West Brom out of the Carling Cup with an extra-time victory at Layer Road.
Ben May struck the decisive goal for the U's at Layer Road on Tuesday night to put the U's into the third round.
The Baggies had forced the tie into extra-time after Geoff Horsfield cancelled out Craig Fagan's first-half strike.
Fagan put the U's in front on 29 minutes when he used a smart move to turn and shoot past Tomasz Kuszczak in the West Brom goal.
But the U's were caught out shortly after the restart with Horsfield beating keeper Davison to put The Baggies back in the tie on 50 minutes.
Neither side was able to get the telling goal before full-time, and the match looked to be heading for spot-kicks until May settled the tie on 118 minutes.
