Visitors to Harwich have been seeing double thanks to a new plaque.
Unveiled - Harwich mayor Andy Morrison shows off the new sign at Parkeston watched by Bernie Sadler, chairman of the Harwich Society, and fellow members
A sign has been put up on the A120 road into the town commemorating the twinning of Harwich, Essex, with Harwich Massachusetts.
The addition was the idea and work of the Harwich Society, which wanted to make the joining of the two official.
Members aim to encourage more American tourists to stop in their namesake town.
The relationship between both places was made official in 1985, but correspondence was recently discovered dating back as far as 1850.
