May's day - Stephen Hunt and U's hero Ben May celebrate victory
Newly-promoted Premiership boys West Bromwich Albion have been scuppered again by giant-killing Colchester United.
First it was the Watney Cup final after a penalty shoot-out in 1971; then it was the Coca-Cola Cup, 5-4 on aggregate in 1996 and now it's the Carling Cup, 2-1 after extra-time.
Throw in a 1-1 FA Cup third round draw in 1968 for good measure and the humble U's dominance over their lofty opponents is complete.
And Gary Megson's winless Baggies were undone at Layer Road last night by a simply fantastic 29th-minute strike from U's white-hot top scorer Craig Fagan - his sixth goal of the season - and a timely last-gasp, extra-time winner via Millwall loanee Ben May.
